Privacy Policy

GitaQuotes brings a daily Bhagavad Gita verse to your Home Screen with privacy by default. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to make the app and widget work.

Effective: August 29, 2025

What we collect

We do not create accounts, collect personal information, or track you across apps or websites. There are no ad SDKs or third‑party trackers in the app.

App and widget data

The app and widget may cache the latest verse locally on your device so it can display even without a network connection. This data stays on your device and is not synced to our servers.

Network requests

When the app or widget fetches the daily verse, our servers receive the standard information every request includes (such as IP address, user‑agent, and timestamps). We use this solely to keep the service reliable and secure, and retain it for a brief period as part of routine server logs.

On our website

This site is a simple marketing and support page. We do not use cookies for behavioral tracking, and we do not embed third‑party analytics that profile visitors. Our hosting provider may keep basic server logs for performance and abuse prevention.

Third‑party services

The app is distributed via official app stores, and content is served by our hosting provider. These services process data under their own policies and terms. We do not share personal data with advertisers.

Your choices

  • You can remove the widget at any time and uninstall the app.
  • If you contact us, any information you provide is used only to assist you.
  • You can visit the Support page for help.

Children’s privacy

GitaQuotes is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. We will adjust the effective date above when changes are made.
